Root Canal Treatment

What Is Root Canal Treatment?

A root canal is a procedure used to treat infection or damage in the inner pulp (nerve) of a tooth. Instead of removing the tooth, the infected pulp is carefully cleaned out, and the space is sealed to prevent future problems.

Common Signs You May Need a Root Canal:

  • Persistent toothache or pain when chewing

  • Sensitivity to hot or cold, even after the source is removed

  • Swelling or tenderness in nearby gums

  • Darkening or discoloration of the tooth

  • Pimple or boil on the gums

Our Root Canal Procedure:

  1. Consultation & Digital X-rays
We start with a thorough evaluation and X-rays to assess the condition of your tooth.

  2. Local Anesthesia
To ensure a pain-free experience, we numb the area completely before starting.

  3. Removal of Infected Pulp
Using modern rotary instruments, we clean and disinfect the root canals with precision.

  4. Filling & Sealing
The cleaned canals are filled with a biocompatible material (gutta-percha) and sealed to prevent reinfection.

  5. Restoration with Crown (if needed)
A dental crown may be placed over the tooth to restore strength and function.
